What is Walk and Talk for Hope?

Walk and Talk for Hope on November 30th is our initiative to promote mental wellness through movement and conversation. Our annual walk brings together community members to foster support, connection, and open dialogue around mental health.

Overall, we hope to inspire other to walk and talk often!

Why walking & talking helps your mental health

Boosts Mood: Walking increases endorphins, improves mood, and reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Increases Social Connection: Talking especially in nature, can lower stress levels, provide emotional release, and strengthen bonds.

Cognitive Benefits: Research showers that even a 10-30 minute walk outside can significantly improve mental well-being.
