Mental Health Awareness Month

Honor Connor | Mental Health Awareness Month 2025

Mental Health Awareness Month reminds us to be kind to our minds—building capacity for connection, rest and healing. At Honor Connor, we believe this is the heart of suicide prevention.

Mental health is more than crisis prevention

…it’s about building strength, hope, and connection so that you can thrive even in difficult times.

Give yourself permission to slow down and rest before you reach burnout.
Setting boundaries means clearly and kindly expressing your needs, limits, and expectations to protect your well-being and foster healthy relationships.
Whether it’s nature, music, faith, or journaling, prioritize activities that bring you back to yourself.
Acknowledge all of your emotions, from grief to joy, without judgment.
Actively seek out trusted family members, friends, therapists, and community spaces.

This is your reminder to…

…nurture yourself, set boundaries, and build the emotional capacity needed to navigate life’s challenges.

Mental Health & Suicide Prevention

 The Bigger Picture

Suicide prevention isn’t just about crisis intervention; it’s about creating upstream solutions—building resilience, fostering community, and ensuring that no one feels alone. Healing isn’t linear, and there is no perfect timeline, but through small, intentional choices, we can build capacity for hope.
